The Person Behind the Practice

30+ years of IT. A Navy veteran. A kid who learned DOS from a manual. Now helping people get real value from AI — without the hype.

Bennie Williams

I’ve been through every major technology shift since the 1990s — virtualization, cloud, mobile, automation — and I bring that perspective to AI education. My career spans 30+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, including 12 years in the U.S. Navy, 6 years at Lockheed Martin, 9 years at Accenture, and my current role overseeing data center operations at Children’s National Hospital.

I’m not an AI researcher or a startup founder. I’m an infrastructure engineer who saw AI coming, learned to use it, and now helps other professionals do the same. My approach is practical, not academic. I teach people to use AI on their actual work — not on hypothetical exercises.

Beyond coaching, I build professional websites for consultants and small businesses, and I deploy Hermes Agent (an open-source AI framework by Nous Research) for people who want their own AI assistant connected to their messaging platform.

I live in Hagerstown, Maryland, with plans to relocate to Frederick in 2026. I serve clients across the DC metro area — in person or via Zoom.
